Fort Worth GMC Dealer Reports On GMC Concept Car

While it is true that most companies are trying to come up with electric and fuel efficient cars, GMC is taking a slightly different approach. GMC has decided to expand their line with an SUV Crossover that should blow away the competition. That being said, our Fort Worth GMC dealership is happy to report anything we find out about this upcoming GMC model.

Introduced at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show, the Granite “urban utility vehicle” is reportedly underpinned by a  version of GM’s global Delta architecture also used by the Orlando small crossover. At 161.3 inches long, by 70.3 inches wide by 60.5 inches tall, the Granite
concept is too wide, squat and short in length to be a minivan; too short in the nose and close to the ground to be an SUV.

Our Fort Worth GMC dealer knows the GMC Granite will have a 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine,  6 speed automatic transmission, a fuel-economy of 27 city / 33 hwy and an estimated 140 horsepower. Currently GMC is still working on the Granite and our Fort Worth GMC dealership couldn’t be more excited.
